Observation of History, Observation of Behavior, Observation of Light and Shadow, Observation of Perspective, and Observation of Sound.
A window, both literal and metaphorical, act as an intermediary between the "outside" and the "inside," inviting a dialogue between physical space and conceptual thought. Each observation explores the layered relationships between the viewer and their environment, offering a lens through which to examine the passage of time, human interaction, and the ephemeral qualities of light and sound.
The installation and the artist book aim to not only frame what is seen but also reflect the act of seeing itself, blurring the boundary between observer and observed.
